Codecasa launches new flagship – 65-metre Regina d’Italia

4th June 2019

This weekend saw the launch of Codecasa’s new flagship motoryacht, the new Codacasa 65 – Hull F74. The launch of the 65-metre vessel, built from steel and aluminium, was marked by a private ceremony at Codecasa’s facility in Viareggio, where the yacht was outfitted following her construction at the Darsena dei Navicelli production site in Pisa. It was a proud day for Codecasa to welcome this beautiful new yacht to their fleet, the biggest yacht the yard has delivered to date.

Named Regina D’Italia, this clean and elegant build can accommodate 12 guests between two master suites and four guest cabins, with space for a crew of up to 16 in nine cabins. With a focus on comfort, there is ample space for relaxation over the five decks, with highlights being the 2m x 5m swimming pool on the sundeck and gymnasium. Large spaces ensure comfort and privacy for her owners and guests and her elegant interior was developed in house by the Codecasa design team in conjunction with the Milan based design studio M2 Atelier: a personal choice of the owners.

Regina d’Italia is owned by an Italian leasing company and will be Italian flagged. She is built to RINA class and in compliance with LY3 (LYS The Large Commercial Yacht Code) and to RINA, with the same high technical standards as previous Codecasa launches M/Y Main Eternity and M/Y Double Down.

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar 3516C engines, Regina d’Italia can achieve a top speed of 17 knots and a range of 5,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots. She has a sustainable outlook with a bilge water treatment system, a sewage treatment system, a refrigerated room for waste and the use of biodegradable oil in stern tubes and rudderholes.

Of similar high-quality Italian design, KK SUPERYACHTS' website features Codecasa motor yacht MARIU available for charter. Built for high fashion designer Georgio Armani, Mariu features Armani design throughout its open plan interior and offers an unforgettable charter experience. Or for those inspired to own a Codecasa yacht of their own, why not consider one of the four currently on sale  M/Y REGINA D'ITALIA II,  M/Y MESUFISH PATROL IV M/Y APOGEE and S/Y BARCA BLU
